Ride the Rails

One of the most unique parts of our festival is the opportunity to arrive by train.

We’re working with our partners to offer special discounted train fares for festival guests traveling to Las Vegas, New Mexico.

Tierra Legacy in Las Vegas, NM

Legendary Chicano soul and R&B icons TIERRA Legacy take the stage for a special night filled with timeless music, powerful vocals, and the unforgettable sound that helped shape generations. With decades of influence and classic hits that continue to move audiences across the country, Tierra’s music remains woven into the heart of Chicano culture and soul music history. Featuring Una Más y La ChaCha,  which have become crowd favorites throughout New Mexico and the Southwest. Their unique style combines Latin music traditions with modern influences, creating a vibrant live performance that keeps audiences on their feet from start to finish.

Rails & Blues Festival: Friday @ Buffalo Hall

Mr. Capone-E & MKY

Headlining Friday night is Chicano Rap icon Mr. Capone-E, one of the most influential and recognizable artists in West Coast Latino Hip-Hop. Born in California and known worldwide for his contributions to Chicano music and culture, Mr. Capone-E has spent more than two decades building a legendary career with hit records, sold-out performances, and collaborations with some of the biggest names in the industry. Opening the festival is Southern California recording artist MKY, a rising star in the Chicano music scene who gained national recognition as a contestant on American Idol. Known for his powerful vocals, charismatic stage presence, and authentic connection with audiences, MKY blends contemporary Latin sounds, Hip-Hop, R&B, and West Coast influences into a style that is uniquely his own.

Experience a full day of world-class blues music in the beautiful courtyard of the historic Castañeda Hotel during Ride the Rails to the Blues. From soulful acoustic performances to electrifying guitar-driven sets, Saturday’s lineup will showcase some of the finest blues musicians from New Mexico and beyond. Surrounded by the rich history and architecture of one of the Southwest’s most iconic railroad hotels, guests will enjoy an unforgettable day celebrating the music that helped shape American culture. Food vendors, craft beverages, merchandise, and festival activities will be available throughout the day. Stay tuned as we prepare to announce a special headlining artist who will close out an incredible day of blues under the New Mexico sky.

Brunch in the Courtyard

Close out Ride the Rails to the Blues with a relaxing Sunday Brunch in the beautiful courtyard of the historic Castañeda Hotel. Enjoy great food, refreshing drinks, and live music as acclaimed blues artist Jack Hadley opens the afternoon, setting the stage for a special headlining performance by Eric Golden. Blending blues, country, Southern rock, and Americana influences, Sunday’s lineup offers the perfect soundtrack to a leisurely brunch and a memorable farewell to an incredible festival weekend. Gather with friends, share stories from the weekend, and enjoy one final celebration of music, culture, and hospitality before heading home.
